IES, Indian Engineering Services Exam Schedule IES 2014 Important Dates

Release of IES 2014 Notification : 15th March 2014

Last Date of submission of IES 2014 Application forms: 14th April 2014

Dates of Engineering Services Examination ( IES- 2014 ) : 20th June 2014( 3 Days exam)

date not out 2014 : General Ability Test

date not out 2014 : Objective Paper I and Objective Paper II

date not out 2014 : Conventional Paper I and Conventional Paper II

IES 2014 Online Application form will be available on 15th March 2014

2. Age Limits: You must have attained at least the age of 21 years and must not have attained the
age of 30 years.

3. Educational Qualifications: You must have an engineering degree (B.tech/B.E) from any of recognised Indian Universities

4. Number of attempts:
General candidates: four attempts.
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

 The examination is conducted in two stages:
• Written Test (1000 marks).
• Interview (200 marks).

Written Test duration:- 03 DAYS
01 DAY : General Ability Test (2 Hour & 200 Marks )
02 DAY : Objective Paper-I (2 Hour & 200 Marks ) & Objective Paper-II (2 Hour &
200 Marks )
03 DAY : Conventional Paper-I (2 Hour & 200 Marks ) & Conventional Paper-II (2
Hour & 200 Marks )

Personality Test / Interview: 200 Marks (After qualifying written examination )
